Breakfast at Tiffany's

We were thrilled to attend the annual "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and officially commence with the holiday celebrations! It was a perfect morning complete with tea and mimosas, pastries and breakfast bites, and custom cookies made specially for the occasion. We were also able to try on some gorgeous Tiffany jewels, including our favourite below - a 10 carat diamond ring of course! Needless to say, we've added a couple of items to our Christmas wish list! To see more from this event, please check out #ATiffanyHoliday and #BreakfastAtTiffany on instagram. Thank you Tiffany and Co. and Hawksworth Communications for putting on the fabulous soirée!

Summer Soirée: Edible Blooms

Edible flowers are ideal for enhancing the visual appeal of a beverage without compromising the integrity of the flavor. In other words, edible flowers are a pretty way to punch up your guests experience. Delighting with one-of-a-kind details is what we're famous for, and one of our current favourite ways to enhance an experience is with bright blooms frozen into ice. Combining the blooms with a coloured glass is very on trend, fresh for summer and really enhances a tablescape, lending to the decor of your event.

Thinking about incorporating this bright blooms into a summer gathering? Here's how:

To achieve clearer cubes, start with distilled water. Bring water to a boil and boil for 2-3 minutes, then allow water to cool completely before freezing to prevent imperfections. Find the edible flowers in your grocery store's produce section and add them into a silicon ice tray, pouring the water over top, and freeze - we prefer large cubes as they melt more slowly, retaining the look for longer, while the silicon tray avoids breaking your works of art.

Try out this fun and fresh décor trend for your next summer soirée!

CountDown Events on Glitter Guide

We're so thrilled to share our feature on Glitter Guide! As part of their wedding week (are you following along with the #GGgetsHitched hashtag?), we worked at creating a styled shoot focusing on designing a tablescape for a wedding (one of our CountDown brides getting married this year is a beauty editor at the well-known lifestyle website!), and we gave some creative tips about designing your very own for a wedding, or a summer celebration.

The inspirational styled shoot included beautiful blooms, and details to delight, like edible flowers frozen into ice for champagne coupes, flashes of gold, bright greens and glowing white. The chairs and eclectic mix of blooms created a rustic yet luxe feel for a tablescape design, and how amazing is that stationery?

Stop by Glitter Guide to see the full feature, and we'll be sharing more unpublished shots from the styled shoot on social media and right here on our blog!
