What do you like most about your job: The creativity it requires – and no day is the same as another
Daily ritual: Up at 5:30, check social media and email, 2 coffees, kids to school and arrive at office at 9:15. I write ideas and to-do lists on my chalkboard wall, brew more coffee and turn on iTunes before getting down to work.
The most rewarding part of my job is: When parents thank me for an article or idea and tell me that UrbanMommies or UrbanDaddies has made a positive impact on their life with their kids.
What has been your biggest strength that’s helped you succeed in your industry?: Acting training.
Memorable celebrity encounter/interview: Meeting Gwyneth Paltrow as she pushed a stroller around Coal Harbour.

Dream vacation spot?: Fiji. I’ve been to Bali and would move there if I could.

What has been your favourite event to attend?: Mom 2.0 Conference in New Orleans (pretty much anything in New Orleans)

What is your biggest indulgence?: Old world wine and well-made clothes.

What is the most challenging thing you have ever done?: An exchange for a year to Hamburg, Germany when I was 16.
What are you obsessed with right now?: The behavior of my kids.
Any other comments/thoughts you’d like to add: (ie. new business features you are offering now): We’re about to launch an iPhone app for parents that will help track meal planning, infant sleep, nursing and emergency records. It’s been in the works for a while and I’m quite excited.
